• Let the class know about one civic group or recent youth movement
• Make sure to tell us about these things:
• Civic Groups • Youth Movements
• What is the group’s mission/goal? • What was their goal/purpose?
• How do they try to achieve that goal? • Why were they successful (or not)?
• Where are they based? • What did people say/think about them
• How successful have they been? • Where did they protest?
• How can they improve? • How did they protest?
• What is interesting about them? • What happened after the protests were over?
You MUST
o Be an expert on your group/movement
o Have answers ready for the above questions
o Be ready to answer Peter’s/your classmates’ questions
o Bring some pictures and videos to show us
o Stand on the stage and talk about your group/movement
